Malaria – Clinical Case 3
A 12-year-old girl is brought to the Emergency Department with headache, somnolence, poor feeding, respiratory tract symptoms, and temperature of 39oC. She was recently reviewed in the Emergency Department one day prior where bloods were done, and she was diagnosed with a viral infection. However, the mother remains concerned that her symptoms appear more severe than a viral infection.
