Procedural Sedation in EM Clinical Case 2

Shelia is an 82-year-old woman with a dislocated total hip replacement. The hip sadly popped out on bending over two hours ago. She has ischemic heart disease and hypertension, for which she is on aspirin, statin, a beta blocker and ace inhibitor. She has an active lifestyle and appears otherwise well. Her observations are within normal limits. She has had 7mg of intravenous morphine prior to x-ray. She had a light breakfast 5 hours ago.
