Blinding Headache

Further history

After complete resolution of symptoms, the patient is discharged from the Emergency Department with the advice to see his GP for further investigation of his headaches and also to monitor his BP regularly.

He represents within a few hours of discharge with a relapse of headache and left sided visual loss and subjective numbness in the left side of the body starting an hour before his reattendance.
