UTI in Pregnancy
Asymptomatic bacteriuria is treated with antibiotics in pregnancy. UTIs in pregnancy are complicated. Cystitis may be treated with nitrofurantoin, cephalexin or amoxicillin. In pyelonephritis, Cephalexin is first choice of oral antibiotic and Cefuroxime is an intra venous option [13].
