A 2-year-old boy is brought to the emergency department (ED) by his parents 1 hour after accidentally ingesting water from a glass containing cigarette butts that were left overnight for disposal. The parents stated that there were two cigarette butts in the glass, and he ingested the water about an hour ago. They also noted symptoms of palpitations, nausea, and vomiting.

- Allergies: No known allergies
- Immunizations: Up to date
- Family History: Nil Significant
Examination:
- General Appearance: Agitated and uncomfortable
Vital Signs:
- Heart Rate: 170/min, regular
- Respiratory Rate: 28 breaths/min
- Sa02-98 on RA
- Blood Pressure: 90/50 mmHg
- Temperature: 37.3 C
- 12 Lead ECG-Sinus Tachycardia, QTc within limit according to nomogram.
