A 75-year-old male patient is brought in by an ambulance with 3 episodes of frank hematemesis, total volume around 500ml. He is on Rivaroxaban and Bisoprolol for Atrial Fibrillation and last took his tablets 4 hours ago. He has a medical history of hypertension.

His observations are as follows:

Heart rate: 95/min

Blood pressure: 100/60 mmHg

Oxygen saturation: 95% RA

Respiratory rate: 22/min

Temperature: 36.4
