A 19-year-old male presents to the Emergency Department (ED) with pain and swelling in the left middle finger ongoing for the last 6 weeks.
He works as a landscaper and is right hand dominant but there is no history of trauma. His finger is held in an extended position with a fusiform swelling and pain on passive flexion.
Blood works and X-ray do not show any acute findings. He is systemically well.
