A 20-year-old man presents to the emergency department following an alleged assault. He is complaining of pain around his left eye and left cheek area. On examination you note bruising on the upper left cheek, with tenderness around the lateral left eye orbit and upper left zygoma. Examination of the cranial nerves of the eye are normal. There are no other injuries. This is a closed injury.
