A 66-year-old lady presents to the Emergency Department (ED) with a history of a fall at home 2 hours ago. She has suffered a large laceration on the lateral aspect of her left thigh from contact with furniture. She is quite slim and looks frail, otherwise she has no significant comorbidities.
