Mr X is a middle aged gentleman who was assaulted with a house brick whilst riding a push bike. He was not wearing a helmet. The patient quickly recovered from the initial insult and walked several miles home.
Three hours later he presented to the Emergency Department (ED) feeling unwell having vomited twice. His GCS was 15/15 upon presentation. An urgent CT Head was organised.
