Urine testing potentially isnt the most glamorous of topics but its an area which theres a HUGE scope for us improving on.

With a lack of understanding of the appropriate work up and testing of patients in your ED for a possible UTI, there is a strong likelihood that patients will be getting falsely diagnosed and you may be missing more sinister diagnoses.

This podcast builds upon principles of testing that were covered in our previous podcast on Diagnostics in EM and make sure you check that out first before listening to this.

Feel free to get in touch with any comments or feedback and also to use the poster to guide investigation and treatment in your ED.
