You are called to see a patient in A and E resus who presents with a low Glasgow Coma Score (“GCS”) Eye 1 Verbal 1 Motor 5. The patient is a known chronic pain patient with a history of overdose. The history from the paramedic team is that the family believe the overdose was at least 2 hours ago.
