A 29-year-old male attends your Emergency Department (ED) after taking an intentional drug overdose of a single medication, taken two hours ago.
He cannot recall the name of the drug. He is shivering, sweating and complaining of palpitations and loose stool.
On examination, of note, he is agitated, his heart rate is 130 beats per minute, his pupils are both dilated and reactive to light, his temperature is 38.3 degrees Celsius and his reflexes are globally brisk.
