A 14-year-old boy is brought to the ED by his parents at 2am complaining of a pain “down below”.
The pain started suddenly – around midnight, his parents had given him some paracetamol, but he vomited after taking it. He thinks he remembers crashing into an opponent during a football game two days ago. He had been ok until last night. He denied any history of sexual activity or penile discharge.
He is comfortable but tender on examination.
