A 53-year-old lady with MS presents with left hip and pelvic pain after a fall. She has difficulty in weight bearing since the fall a few days prior.
Clinical examination post analgesia proves largely unremarkable apart from severe pain in the left hip when an attempt is made to mobilise. A pelvic x-ray is ordered. Blood tests show no signs of inflammation or infection. Her urine hcg is negative.
