Transient Chest Pain

A 50-year-old male attends the emergency department (ED) with cardiac-sounding chest pain that started a few hours ago. He was given aspirin by paramedics and the pain has now completely resolved. He is keen to go home.

He has no relevant past medical history.

His observations, examination and bloods (including troponin) are all normal.

His ECG is shown below:
